Carl Dovey. Managing Director, Doveys Office Solutions Ltd Working closely with Multisys over the past five years has helped Crewe-based Doveys Office Solutions Ltd concentrate on what it does best – supply customers with everything for the office without having to give a second thought to IT.

Multisys acts as Doveys’ IT department, dealing with everything from email and the internet to Legerdemain and e-commerce, and Managing Director Carl Dovey and his 14-strong team are delighted with the support they receive.

“Legerdemain and the addon software that Multisys has developed is simple, efficient and keeps the line of communication clear between ourselves and our customers, who basically want a straightforward ordering system that means they receive the products they need the following day.

“Our customers are able to order on-line and we are able to create bespoke order pads for all of them, enabling us to promote goods and services to suit their specific needs. We can monitor what and how they are spending, and if they have ordered one product, we can advise them on another that offers better quality at the same time – giving them better value in the long term and improving our profit margins.”

Doveys has recently invested in Multisys Liaison, Legerdemain’s fully integrated web ordering system, which is also proving a hit with customers. Added Carl: “They tell me Multisys Liaison is quicker and easier to use, easy to understand and gives them the right information – and we think it’s excellent, too.”

And when it comes to maintenance and support, Carl finds that Multisys responds quickly and effectively. “If there’s a problem, they’re always at the end of the phone and always solve it as swiftly as they can,” he said. “For example, we recently had a PC breakdown, and they were with us within an hour-and-a-half to sort it out, which was brilliant.”
